“Annie’s gift of tuning in to her clients’ wavelength and of putting forward suggestions which were invariably pleasing, while encouraging us slightly out of our comfort zone on occasion, resulted in a home full of subtle but interesting colour and texture, which we would never have been able to achieve on our own. She also made enjoyable a process which could otherwise have caused us some considerable stress. Annie’s work has been hugely admired by everyone who had visited our home. Thank You!”Anna

Anne Haimes took on the conversion of two period cottages, dating back several hundred years,
to create a family home with the addition of a two-storey extension at the rear of the property.
Overall the property was dark and needed total refurbishment to create a harmonious
and inviting interior for the family to enjoy.
The extension at the rear of the property, which included a new staircase, created an opportunity for good
natural light to flood into the main sitting room and dining area.
Furniture was chosen to be at ease with the architecture of the property both in shape and the material choices.
Working with both pattern and texture, metal and glass, as well as painted finishes.
Leading up the staircase and on the main first floor landing, we created a seamless integration of light with
the introduction of brick in the wall lights.
Bespoke cabinetry was designed and installed in the dressing room, adjacent to the master bedroom, as well as living areas.
Anne is the companies founder first establishing the business over 20 years ago, the key to her approach is getting to know her clients and taking them on a journey to create special and unique homes that exceed expectations.
Outside of the design world she spends time with her family, practises yoga and travels to new places. During her 30 years in the industry she has worked on both traditional and contemporary homes, that are both in harmony with the architecture, but also reflect the clients needs, style, taste and above all personality. In building the business she has surrounded herself with people who share her passion for great design and share the desire to ensure their clients receive an outstanding client experience. She is a member of the British Institute of Interior Design.
Julie joined the team at Anne Haimes Interiors last summer. She studied Interior Design at Glasgow Caledonian University, graduating with honours. When she is not designing she loves to travel, Vietnam and Costa Rica being two of her favourite places.
Cathy studied Textiles and Surface design at university, graduating with honours. This lead to a huge passion for colour, pattern and texture.
