Colourful new collections for A/W 2017 to chase the dark nights away!

Tis the season for…delving into the exciting collections that will be influencing our interiors this season! Autumn/Winter 2017 isn’t dark and stormy at all, it’s all about exciting forms teamed with vibrant colours, on these long winter nights we like nothing better than sitting down in our favourite armchair and pouring over exciting new looks. So as the year draws to a close here are a few of our favourite new collections; rich, bold and eye-catching!

Matthew Williamson for Osborne & Little – Belvoir

Matthew Williamson is known for his highly individual colour pallets and his latest collection Belvoir for Osborne & Little doesn’t disappoint. A vivid and rich pallet of aquamarine, azure blue, turquoise, coral and jade really standout against quieter background colours of ivory, pearl and silver.

Inspired by Belvoir Castle the collection delivers notes of an English stately home but with an eccentric twist; these are opulent, decorative prints making for some beautiful yet fun designs.

We love the contrast these vibrant florals and fauna have against an intricate, monochrome background, giving a real ‘pop’ of colour without being too overpowering.

William Yeoward – Pellenport

Pellenport is a sophisticated collection of fabrics; rich in ochre, red and beautiful teal tones. Inspired by William’s travels in Europe the decorative embroideries, weaves and prints pay homage to antique textiles and, we think, look just stunning. This rich ochre devoré is a favourite of ours, making this chair an inviting prospect!

Moorish influences mix with expressive paisley swirls to create stunning focal points. We are big fans of the dramatic impact this large-scale design has against the neutral walls of this scheme…Wow!

Pierre Frey – Maya

Inspired by the vibrant countries of Central America these geometric and floral designs of the Maya collection mix together to create eye-catching, exotic schemes that pack a punch. Bright colours with bold patterns standout against a neutral pallet.

A couple of our favourites are the abstract Tutti Frutti; a cheerful linen print reproduction of the colourful art by Heather Chontos;

and the beautiful Papiers Decoupes; a fun, spirited fabric of vibrant botanicals printed on embroidered linen.
